“The best journeys answer the questions that, in the beginning, you didn’t even think to ask.”
– Jeff Johnson
Nat has come full circle back to her hometown of Basalt, CO after nearly a decade in Silicon Valley and Southern California. Being an avid reader/writer/storyteller translated into well-used library cards and a degree in English & Media Communications. Always searching for new ways to tell stories, Nat began to fall in love with the way in which numbers and data could tell us stories that would otherwise have remained hidden. She went back to school to get her MBA in order to further pursue these stories and their translations – bridging the gap between what we know and what we can uncover. She has spent the last 5 years at IDEO, working with everyone from small startups, to toy inventors, to some of the largest, most progressive companies building the world today. Most of her time is spent shaping client work, playing with systems, and unearthing the deeper insights of brands and communities.
When she’s not in the office, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, hanging with her dog Newton, and fixing/making something at her house.
